Biography

Patrick Martin has been in charge of real estate and public private partnerships at LSU for over 10 years. He led LSU’s first P3 housing project, Nicholson Gateway, the first phase of which constructed over 1,900 beds of student housing, 50,000 square feet of retail space, 8,000 square feet of university recreation space, and an 800-spot parking garage. Since that first phase, two other phases have been completed, with over 3,000 beds on LSU’s campus having been constructed and operated by its private partner, RISE. Patrick has also led the P3 project to bring over $112 million in private development to modernize LSU’s central utility plant. Aside from his work for LSU, Patrick serves as an elected member of the Baton Rouge school board. In his personal life, Patrick enjoys scuba diving with his wife and their 12-year-old daughter.
