Glen Nakata recently retired as the Vice Chancellor for Financial and Administrative Affairs at Purdue University Fort Wayne. He oversaw Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Facilities, Information Technology, Athletics, and Public Safety. Before joining Purdue University, he served as the Assistant Dean for Finance & Administration for the College of Education at the University of North Texas and was the Senior Business Officer for Administrative Operations and Director of Finance for Auxiliary Services at the University of Southern California. 

He started his career with the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche and then went on to work for Apple, The Walt Disney Company, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Warner Bros, and the Screen Actors Guild. He has a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He received his CPA license from the State of California. 

He lives in Fort Wayne with his wife, Tina, and has two children, Dr. Haley Nakata, an orthopedic surgeon and Austin Nakata, a commercial airline pilot.
