Leah Mukoro is an Associate Partner in McKinsey & Company’s Toronto office and a leader in the firm’s Education Practice. She brings extensive experience collaborating with public, private, and non-profit organizations to develop transformative strategies that drive growth, improve operational performance, and enhance workforce and economic development.

Leah has expertise in helping organizations optimize their operating models, including designing and implementing shared services to achieve cost efficiencies and service-level improvements while remaining aligned with their core mission. Her expertise also spans education technology, affordability and accessibility, and growth strategies, where she partners with clients to deliver sustainable, high-impact solutions.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Leah served as the Director of Operations and Business Development for VOTO Mobile (now Viamo), a mobile-for-development social enterprise in West Africa, where she led initiatives to expand access to essential services in underserved communities. She holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Education and Arts from the University of Toronto.
