Dano Weisbord joined Tufts in 2022 to advance university commitment to sustainability and climate. Under his leadership, Tufts has revamped the approach to long-range capital planning and completed an energy infrastructure masterplan. Currently, he is evaluating public-private partnership approaches to fund and execute Tufts energy and climate ambitions. Previously, Dano was responsible for developing the financial and technical plan for electrification of the district energy system at Smith College. He has published and spoken widely on campus sustainability and decarbonization.
