Walker manages various aspects of the day-to-day development process, including site evaluation, conceptual planning, pro forma creation and analysis, and coordinating the efforts of the Development Team. Walker works directly with the University partner and is the primary point of contact through the entire development process – from predevelopment through design to construction and then to the important turn over to operations. Aside from development management, Walker is also a member of CDP’s Corporate Advisory Committee, in which he, along with other senior staff, works closely with CDP Principals to provide counsel and guidance on all strategic business matters. Since joining Capstone in 2003, Walker has overseen the management and delivery of nearly 11,000 beds of student housing with associated parking, dining, wellness and recreation, conference, retail, and office spaces totaling over $870 Million in development value.
